Microcosm

I was driving a group of Americans around today when the following exchange occurred:

She: [reads chain email contrasting the fact that illegal immigrants are killed or imprisoned in totalitarian countries with a (bogus) list of benefits that the United States provides them]

Me: "So ... you want us to be more like the Communists?"

She: "Right!"

And she meant it.
